The Town of Wallingford is pleased to announce that Geoffrey Einhorn has officially been sworn in as the Town Attorney.
Einhorn has served as Assistant Town Attorney since January 2012. He brings extensive legal experience in municipal law and will serve as the chief legal advisor to the Mayor, Town Council, and all town departments, boards and commissions, providing guidance on ordinances, contracts, litigation, and other matters affecting the Town's operations and governance.
Einhorn's appointment follows the recent retirement of former Town Attorney Gerald Farrell, Sr. The Town of Wallingford thanks Attorney Farrell for his decades of exceptional municipal service and wishes him well in his retirement.

The Town of Wallingford proudly recognizes V. James "Jim" Seichter, a lifelong resident whose contributions have enriched our community for decades. Jim began serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission on January 30, 1996. As Chairman since 2010, he has provided thoughtful leadership while ensuring every application was carefully considered.
The Town of Wallingford extends its heartfelt gratitude to Jim for his years of dedicated service and leadership, and wishes him joy, fulfillment, and success in all his future endeavors.

Mayor Vincent Cervoni announced a Celebration in Memory of the Life and Vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at the Wallingford Town Hall, Robert F. Parisi Town Council Chambers, 45 South Main Street, Wallingford, Connecticut.
The program will include an artwork display, essays, and readings from Martin Luther King’s work provided by our Elementary, Middle School and High School students.
The program is presented by the Town of Wallingford, Public Celebrations Committee and Wallingford Board of Education

Starting Monday, January 12, 2026, the Public Works Department will begin picking up Christmas Trees in all sections of town. Residents must have Christmas trees to be picked up at the curbside Sunday, January 11, 2026. Trees must be clean of ornaments, bows, tinsel etc. No plastic bags or wreaths will be picked up. This is a one-time pickup.

If your mailbox was damaged by a Wallingford Snowplow, contact Public Works at 203-294-2105. Public Works will install a new mailbox.
If your mailbox was damaged by a Wallingford Snowplow and you have replaced your mailbox yourself, send an email to request reimbursement up to $55.00, including a receipt for the new mailbox to: [email protected].
If you are seeking reimbursement of more than $55.00 or a specialty mailbox, you will need to submit a claim directly to the Town Clerk’s office, in writing, with all pertinent information (name, address, date of loss, value of replacement box, etc). Town Clerk will assign a claim number and will forward to the appropriate departments.
Mayor Vincent Cervoni has issued a reminder to all Wallingford residents, property owners, businesses and occupants of properties regarding their responsibility for the care of the abutting public sidewalks.

The second half installment of Real Estate, Personal Property taxes and the Supplemental Motor Vehicle tax on the Grand List of October 1, 2024 is due January 1, 2026 and payable on February 2, 2026.

Ray Ross, a lifelong Wallingford resident and 1958 graduate of Lyman Hall High School, has dedicated decades of service to his hometown with unwavering pride and a lifetime marked by service and generosity. Ray served on the Wallingford Board of Education since his first election in 2017 and culminating with his recent re-election in 2025.
We commend Ray for his extraordinary service and enduring legacy. His passion and devotion exemplify the very best of civic life and will continue to inspire our community for years to come.
Mayor Cervoni has proclaimed December 4, 2025 as Ray Ross Day.
